Who Are We?
Hbooka was born out of frustration. Watching talented hotel owners manage their properties through a combination of WhatsApp groups, handwritten registers and manual M-Pesa confirmations — while international hotel chains used sophisticated systems — felt fundamentally wrong.
The tools existed. They just were not built for this market, priced for this market, or designed with the realities of East African hospitality in mind.
We set out to build a system that would feel native to the African hotel operator — one where M-Pesa is not a plugin but a core feature, where pricing is honest and affordable, and where setup takes minutes, not weeks.

Our Mission
Our mission is simple: give every hotel, guesthouse and lodge in Africa the same quality of booking management tools that international chains have — at a price that actually makes sense.
We believe that a boutique lodge in Naivasha deserves the same professional booking system as a hotel in London. Technology should not be a luxury reserved for large chains.
